Education Today staff work with students and educationalists to gather and prepare other specialist and targeted publications, such as Learning Auckland, to show how education contributes to communities, to showcase initiative, and to discuss the achievements and challenges in education in New Zealand. These publications include a specially convened Student Editorial Group to involve students in editorial content, design, production and circulation of the publications in a way that brings their voice to educators and also contributes to their learning.

Education Today is a valuable independent voice, and submissions are welcomed from students, teachers, principals and other education professionals.
